Eminem Throws Jabs at Kanye West, Diddy, and Kendrick Lamar in New Album
Eminem has sparked controversy with his latest album, “The Death of Slim Shady (Coupe de Grâce),” where he appears to take shots at fellow hip-hop artists Kanye West (Ye), Kendrick Lamar, and music executive Diddy.
In the track “Anti-Christ,” Eminem makes a bold statement about his detractors, referencing the allegations against Diddy. “Next idiot that ask me is gettin’ his ass beat worse than Diddy did,” he raps, alluding to the ongoing sexual harassment allegations facing Diddy.
Eminem doesn’t stop there. In another verse from “Anti-Christ,” he mentions Kanye West, expressing his determination to avoid a downfall similar to Ye’s. “Say they wish that I wasn’t so angry, don’t wanna see me go off the deep end like Ye, ayy,” he raps.
The Detroit rapper also takes aim at Kendrick Lamar in the track “Renaissance.” Eminem critiques Kendrick’s recent album, “Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers,” suggesting it lacks hit songs. “Cause I don’t see no fans, all I see’s a bunch of complainers/’Kendrick’s album was cool, but it didn’t have any bangers,” he raps.
As of now, Diddy, Kanye West, and Kendrick Lamar have not responded to Eminem’s remarks on his new album.
