Lil Tay Making Career Comeback After Death Hoax!

Lil Tay, the 14-year-old rapper and influencer, is gearing up for a career resurgence following a tumultuous period that included a false death report and a custody battle. The young artist, whose real name is Tay Tian, had been reported dead earlier this month in what was later revealed to be a “fake” publicity stunt to regain attention and spotlight.

Her ex-manager, Harry Tsang, dismissed the death report as a ploy to thrust her back into the limelight. Since then, an official statement has been released on Lil Tay’s Instagram account, disclosing that a custody agreement has been reached between her parents, Angela Tian and Christopher Hope, ending years of discord.

The family law attorneys representing Angela clarified the situation, stating, “We have been asked to clarify media confusion as to the current state of the family law proceedings, including custody, child parenting and child support.” They revealed that Angela had obtained orders that enabled her daughter to pursue her career.

As part of the agreement, Angela will receive approximately $275,000 in retroactive child support from Hope, ongoing monthly child support, and additional expenses. She will also have sole day-to-day decision-making authority and final responsibilities for Tay Tian, ensuring her daughter’s best interests are prioritized. Tay Tian’s primary residence will be with her mother.

Furthermore, Angela will possess the ability to sign contracts and relocate outside of Vancouver, providing her with increased autonomy and control over her daughter’s career endeavours.

Angela expressed her relief in a statement, declaring, “We have prevailed, justice has prevailed, and God has prevailed! We have won our case in court, and my children and I can finally move on from this nightmare. My daughter can pursue and achieve her dreams on her own terms, and we are finally a happy family again, together.”

Lil Tay addressed the false death report in an interview with TMZ, asserting that both she and her older half-brother, Jason, were alive and well. She attributed the misinformation to a third party compromising her Instagram account. She stated, “I want to make it clear that my brother and I are safe and alive, but I’m completely heartbroken, and struggling to even find the right words to say.”

Lil Tay, who gained online prominence at the age of nine, garnered a significant following with her provocative and controversial content. Her videos included explicit language and insults, leading to over 3.3 million followers on Instagram. Her ascent to fame was accompanied by allegations of exploitation, as videos surfaced showing her brother coaching her on her content.

As Lil Tay prepares for her comeback, her journey continues amidst both success and challenges, showcasing the complexities of navigating the entertainment industry at a young age.
