Lil Wayne Applauds Ciara’s ‘Female Weezy’ Halloween Impersonation

Lil Wayne, the iconic rapper and hip-hop figure, has given a heartfelt nod of approval to Ciara for her Halloween transformation into the “Female Weezy” this year.

In her Halloween homage to Nicki Minaj’s Lil Wayne imitation from Birdman’s 2011 “Y.U. Mad” video, Ciara displayed her baby bump while flawlessly emulating the renowned rapper’s distinctive style. Her ensemble featured camouflage pants, a white tee, diamond cross chains, long blonde braids, and the signature oversized pink fur hat, akin to Wayne’s attire in the video.

Captioning her social media posts on Tuesday (October 31) as “I am the Female Weezy,” Ciara received a shout-out from Lil Wayne on Wednesday (November 1) via Twitter. The rap icon expressed his admiration for the singer’s portrayal, writing, “Ci Ci you killed it!!!!!!! I fkn luv it.”

Ciara’s homage to Lil Wayne drew adoration not only from Wayne himself but also from fans and admirers of both Wayne and Nicki Minaj, who praised her creative Halloween costume in her social media comments.

Amidst the Halloween celebration, fans also expressed hopes for a potential collaboration between Ciara and Lil Wayne. Although she has previously collaborated with Nicki Minaj on the track “I’m Out” in 2013, a collaboration between Ciara and Lil Wayne is yet to come to fruition.

While Nicki Minaj postponed her album release to December 8, Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz are set to release their Welcome 2 ColleGrove project on November 17. The collaborative effort will consist of 21 tracks and feature appearances from artists such as Benny The Butcher and others.

The original ColleGrove, released in 2016, debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, earning 53,000 album-equivalent units in its first week.

Recently, Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, sharing stories about their long-standing friendship and musical partnership. They reminisced about their initial meeting at an Atlanta studio, with Wayne playfully mentioning 2 Chainz as a laid-back guy who had graduated from college and was into basketball.

Reflecting on their connection, the duo exchanged smiles and playful remarks. Wayne humorously hinted at 2 Chainz’s role as his marijuana supplier during their early interactions in Atlanta.
