Mayorkun Returns After 2-Year Hiatus with ‘Love…For Free’ EP
Nigerian music sensation Mayorkun, famously known as the “Mayor of Lagos,” has made a highly anticipated comeback with his latest EP titled ‘Love…For Free.’ The artist had been on a two-year break from releasing a new album.
Album Talks HQ has confirmed that this exciting EP is scheduled for release on October 19, marking a significant return for Mayorkun. The ‘Love…For Free’ EP boasts five tracks, including the songs “Lose Control” featuring Blxckie, “Thermo,” “For Daddy,” “My Energy,” and “Lowkey.”
One of the standout tracks, “Lowkey,” was recently released by the Mayor of Lagos, marking his second song of the year. In celebration of this new release, Mayorkun took to Instagram to share a sneak peek of the song’s video with a heartfelt message: “From the deepest part of my heart to you… New music ‘Lowkey!’ out at midnight.” Fans and supporters have expressed their excitement and appreciation for this fresh music.

Mayorkun is set to grace the stage at Davido’s annual A.W.A.Y. festival, scheduled to take place in Atlanta, Georgia, on November 18, 2023.
