Meek Mill Joins The Rock in WWE Wrestlemania Promo
Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill has made a surprise appearance alongside wrestling icon Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in a promotional video heralding the upcoming Wrestlemania XL. The clip, which was unveiled across various social media platforms on Thursday (March 28), also features renowned wrestlers such as Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Cody Rhodes.
Meek Mill’s involvement in the promo stemmed from an Instagram video he posted on Tuesday (March 25), tagging both the WWE and Triple H, the former wrestler turned WWE Chief Content Officer. In response, Triple H shared the Wrestlemania video on Twitter, inviting Meek Mill to join in the excitement with the caption, “A story of neon dreams… or faded nightmares. You ready for this, @MeekMill? #WrestleMania.”
For those not drawn to Wrestlemania XL, an alternative event awaits in the form of WaleMania, organized by rapper Wale. Scheduled to coincide with Wrestlemania, WaleMania promises a fusion of music and wrestling, featuring artists like Connie Diamond, Nick Papz, and 3ohBlack, along with a tribute to former WWE Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin.
In a press release shared with Ringside News, Wale expressed his anticipation for the event, stating, “Bringing my friends together from the world of music and wrestling is something I truly look forward to doing every year leading up to Mania week. This year is going to be the biggest one we’ve ever done, and I’m looking forward to giving my fans and friends a unique experience.”
