Ms DSF Clears Air on Rumoured Secret Marriage Between Toke Makinwa and Farouk Umar
Nollywood actress and media personality Dorcas Shola Fapson, popularly known as Ms DSF, has debunked rumours suggesting that her colleague, Toke Makinwa, secretly married her long-time partner, Farouk Umar.
Speculation began circulating after photos of Makinwa and Umar at a recent event surfaced online, with Ms DSF initially hinting on social media that the pair were getting married. The images, which quickly went viral, were reportedly taken at what Ms DSF had jokingly referred to as Makinwa’s “thanksgiving” ceremony.
In response to the widespread reports, Ms DSF took to her social media page to clarify her earlier statements, explaining that the event was not a wedding but a thanksgiving ceremony ahead of Makinwa’s birthday. She added that her initial comments were made in jest, saying, “Bloggers please, I’m just joking. They are not getting married. Toke is just doing thanksgiving for her birthday.”
Makinwa, a prominent media figure, was previously married to businessman Maje Ayida in 2014, but their marriage ended in 2017.
