Nasboi Embarks on 36 States Kneeling Tour to Get Verse from Davido
Nigerian entertainer Nasboi has launched a 36-day tour across the country, kneeling in each of the nation’s 36 states in a bold appeal for a music collaboration with award-winning singer, Davido.
The comedian-turned-musician announced the campaign on Wednesday via Instagram, sharing a photo of himself kneeling with a placard outside the Osun State Government Secretariat. The tour, which he described as a personal plea for a verse from Davido, marks his latest attempt to connect with the Afrobeats star after years of trying.
Nasboi, who gained fame in part by mimicking Davido’s voice in skits, said he’s spent the last five years using his craft to get the singer’s attention.
Continuing the campaign on Thursday, the artist posted another image of himself on his knees in front of the Kano State Government House.
“I will be kneeling across the 36 states for 36 days,” he wrote. “I pray this dream comes to pass. Please just tag @davido everyday when you see the post.”
The tour has sparked widespread attention online, with fans and followers applauding Nasboi’s dedication and creative approach.
