New Balance Unveils 2002R “Arid Stone” Ahead of Holiday Release
New Balance is set to expand its lineup of understated lifestyle sneakers with a new 2002R colourway, “Arid Stone/Black Coffee,” arriving during the 2025 holiday season.
The 2002R – once the brand’s dominant lifestyle model – has taken on a quieter role this year as newer silhouettes like the 2010 and 2000 push further into the spotlight. Still, New Balance continues to refresh the fan-favourite shoe with simple, versatile designs to meet sustained demand.
The upcoming edition pairs soft beige Arid Stone suede with a deep brown Black Coffee mesh base, delivering a muted autumn-ready palette. Grey leather panels return as familiar accents, while matching Black Coffee “N” logos sit on each side of the shoe.
Underfoot, the sneaker features a mostly black midsole, with small beige details surrounding the ABZORB SBS cushioning pods at the heel – a signature comfort feature of the 2002R.
The New Balance 2002R “Arid Stone/Black Coffee” will launch in men’s sizing for $145 during Holiday 2025.
