Odumodublvck Receives Solar-Powered Home as Rookie of the Year Prize from Headies Awards
Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck, honoured as Rookie of the Year at the 16th Headies Awards, has now officially taken possession of his solar-powered home, fulfilling the Headies’ promise to award a home to the category winner.
In a handover ceremony held at the office of Headies Awards organizer Ayo Animashaun, Odumodublvck signed the final documents and received the keys to his new residence. Photos shared on social media captured the artist’s joy as he toured the property, accompanied by Animashaun and Ned Okonkwo, the real estate developer responsible for the home.
This prize is a significant moment not only for Odumodublvck, who has sparked much conversation in the Nigerian music industry since his win, but also for the Headies Awards, which continues to demonstrate its commitment to recognising and supporting emerging talent. Previously, the awards have gifted vehicles to winners, and now, through a partnership with Citadel Views Estate, they are awarding a home, highlighting the growth of artist recognition in Nigeria.
