Offset Seeks Joint Custody of Children With Cardi B Amid Divorce Proceedings
Offset has formally requested joint custody of his three children with Cardi B as their divorce case moves forward.
According to reports from TMZ, the rapper, formerly of Migos, recently filed legal documents proposing that he and Cardi B share custody of their children—Kulture, Wave, and their newborn daughter, whose name has yet to be publicly revealed. While Offset is seeking joint custody, he has reportedly suggested that Cardi B’s home serve as the children’s primary residence.
The rapper is also asking the court to equitably divide their shared assets and has proposed that both he and Cardi cover their own legal fees.
Offset’s filing comes shortly after he seemingly referenced his split from Cardi B in his new song, Ten, which was released on Valentine’s Day. The track features pointed lyrics aimed at a past lover, with Offset rapping about moving on and enjoying the single life.
This is the latest development in the high-profile separation of the two rap stars, who have been in an on-and-off relationship since getting married in 2017. While Cardi B has yet to publicly respond to Offset’s song or latest court filing, fans continue to speculate about the future of their relationship.
