Oxlade Announces ‘Oxlade From Africa’ North America Tour, Ahead of Debut Album Release
Afrobeats sensation Oxlade, born Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, has revealed plans for his highly anticipated world tour, starting with North America. The announcement comes ahead of the release of his debut album, Oxlade From Africa, which is set to drop on September 20, 2024.
The tour, titled “Oxlade From Africa” (OFA), will kick off on October 2, 2024, taking the Nigerian singer and songwriter to major cities across North America, including Toronto, Los Angeles, Dallas, New York, Miami, and Chicago. Sharing the news on social media, Oxlade wrote, “From Surulere to the global stage. #OFA World Tour begins October 2nd.”
Known for hits like “Ku Lo Sa” and “Away,” Oxlade’s soulful voice and energetic performances are expected to captivate audiences as he brings his unique Afrobeats sound to fans across the continent. Tickets for the North American leg of the tour are now on sale, with the U.K. and Europe dates to follow shortly after.
