P-Square Rift Reignites as Paul Okoye Accuses Twin Brother Peter of Song Theft”
The longstanding tension between the P-Square duo appears to have resurfaced, as Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, publicly accused his twin brother and former bandmate, Peter Okoye (Mr P), of stealing his song. Rudeboy claimed that Mr P, alongside a producer, used his lyrics and composition without permission.
Mr P recently dropped a new track titled Winning after the group’s third breakup earlier this year. However, Rudeboy alleged in an Instagram post that he had originally written and recorded the song with the same producer, who then allegedly handed it over to his brother. According to Rudeboy, Mr P recorded the song “word for word” from his original version.
Expressing frustration, Rudeboy shared, “Song title: Winning — Written and sung by Rudeboy, produced by the same producer. Now, how come? Am I supposed to release another version?” He added that he had submitted six songs to the group’s management, questioning why his work was being replicated.
Rudeboy went on to threaten that he would release his own original versions of any songs he feels have been copied, writing, “The days of manipulation are over!! And to the management, if I hear any song I recorded alone, I’ll release the original version. Music is not that hard!”
The feud has rekindled discussions about the brothers’ tumultuous relationship, leaving fans wondering if reconciliation is possible for the iconic music duo.
