Patricia Brake Dies at 79 After Cancer Battle
Popular English actress, Patricia Brake has passed away at 79 after a long cancer battle.
She starred in numerous shows including Coronation Street, Eldorado, Emmerdale and EastEnders and was famous in the 1970s for her sterling role in ‘Porridge’
The news of her passing was revealed by her son, Jon McBain on popular social media platform, Twitter and these were his words, “I can confirm that my mother, the actress Patricia Brake, died earlier today at the age of 79 after a long battle with cancer.”
Speaking on her death, her agent Scott Marshall Partners said, “It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our client and well-loved stage and TV actress, Patricia Brake, at the age of 79, after a very long battle with cancer.”
In the course of her career, she featured in other TV roles such as the BBC’s Doctors, The Glums and Midsomer Murders, Casualty and Holby City.
