Pepsi Black Unveils “Ripple Effect” Project

Pepsi Black, the beloved sugar-free iteration of the iconic Pepsi flavour, is not just about refreshing beverages; it’s now making waves in the music scene with its innovative platform, “Ripple Effect.” This initiative aims to spotlight emerging talents with exceptional potential, showcasing the diverse and dynamic B side of music.

Since the 1980s, music has been an integral part of Pepsi’s identity, featuring prominently in music videos, concerts, and campaigns with global music icons. While preserving its signature flavour, Pepsi Black is delving deeper into its passion for artistic expression through the Ripple Effect project. This creative endeavour goes beyond the beverage, exploring various rhythms and melodies across diverse music genres, and celebrating cultural richness.

For the Ripple Effect project, Pepsi Black has collaborated with four influential emerging talents in Mexico. The platform presents a series of chapters featuring the creative interpretations of the song “More” by the trio of sisters, The Warning, Mexican DJ Mariana Bo, and the rappers from the professional improv league, Steppenwolf and R.C. Each artist brings their unique style and creativity to the table, embracing the B side of music while staying true to its essence.

Expressing the brand’s vision for the Ripple Effect project, Rainer Strauss, Pepsi brand director, stated in a press release, “Our vision is to unleash an effect that benefits music as a whole, creating a ripple of creativity and authenticity that resonates with all music lovers, inspiring future generations to dare, to be disruptive, and to break out of the bubble to go for more.”

As part of this groundbreaking project, Pepsi Black invites music enthusiasts to explore the chapters on various Pepsi Black networks, providing a platform for fans to support these emerging artists by sharing their content. The Ripple Effect project signifies a new chapter in Mexico’s music history, with artists poised to break barriers and explore the unknown alongside Pepsi Black.
