Peruzzi Denies Writing Burna Boy’s Hit Song Amid Viral Speculation

Nigerian singer and songwriter Tobechukwu Okoh, known as Peruzzi, has refuted a widely circulating claim suggesting that he wrote one of Burna Boy’s popular songs.

This follows Peruzzi’s prior statement on social media, where he declared having written over 252 songs for the Nigerian music industry. Subsequently, some of his followers implied that a hit song by Burna Boy was penned by Peruzzi. They critiqued Burna Boy for purportedly utilizing numerous songwriters, contrasting this with Peruzzi’s alleged singular lyrical prowess and referring to Burna Boy’s followers as “lost children.”

In response to these claims, Peruzzi took to his official platform to explicitly deny the speculation. He wrote, “Don’t give me credit for what I didn’t do.”

The statement from Peruzzi directly addresses the circulating rumors, disclaiming any involvement in writing Burna Boy’s hit song, thus clarifying his position amidst the ongoing viral speculation.
