Peruzzi Returns with ‘SABALI’: A 17-Track Journey of Patience, Passion, and Purpose

Nigerian singer and songwriter Peruzzi has released his highly anticipated fourth studio album, SABALI, marking a bold and reflective new chapter in his career.

The 17-track project, whose title translates to “patience,” arrives after a period of creative pause and reinvention. True to its name, SABALI captures the reward of waiting, delivering a blend of introspection, emotion, and musical range that reasserts Peruzzi’s reputation as one of Afrobeats’ most versatile storytellers.

Across the album, Peruzzi explores themes of love, resilience, and ambition, weaving them into a sonic tapestry that moves fluidly between Afrobeats, Afro-soul, and highlife. His signature R&B-style vocals glide over layered percussion, mid-tempo grooves, and traditional undertones, creating a soundscape that feels both deeply Nigerian and universally relatable.

Tracks like “Die It” open the album on a soulful, confessional note, while the much-talked-about “Apala Drill” featuring Davido fuses traditional rhythms with modern trap energy. Other highlights include “Perfect Situation”, a DMW reunion with Davido, Mayorkun, and Dremo, and “Cooking Pot” featuring Jeriq, a gritty anthem celebrating hustle and grit.

Peruzzi also teams up with Jesse Jagz on “Nuff Respect”, blending lyrical introspection with reggae influences, while The Cavemen bring highlife warmth to “Mad Oh.” Love ballads like “You” featuring Kemuel and “Legalize” reveal Peruzzi’s softer, more vulnerable side, and the album closes on an uplifting note with “Time Of My Life” featuring Esoterica.

With appearances from Timaya, Zlatan, Bella Shmurda, Terri, Gazo, and The Flowolf, SABALI strikes a balance between star power and authenticity. It’s a cohesive, heartfelt project that underscores Peruzzi’s growth – both as an artist and as a man who has learned to trust the process.

Early listener reactions have been overwhelmingly positive, with the album quickly climbing streaming charts and earning praise for its emotional depth and musical craftsmanship.

Now available on all major streaming platforms, SABALI isn’t just an album – it’s a statement of patience rewarded and artistry refined.
