50 Cent Breaks Silence on Sex Trafficking, Rape Allegations Against Diddy
American rapper 50 Cent has publicly spoken out about the serious allegations of sex trafficking and rape surrounding his fellow musician, Sean “Diddy” Combs. The embattled music mogul is currently facing multiple lawsuits, including one involving the alleged rape of a 13-year-old girl.
Diddy’s legal troubles escalated after federal agents arrested him at a Manhattan hotel, following a grand jury indictment. The second wave of sexual assault claims has intensified the scrutiny on the hip-hop icon.
In an exclusive interview with People, 50 Cent addressed the situation, noting that his recent comments may seem provocative but align with sentiments he has held for years. “Look, it seems like I’m doing some extremely outrageous things, but I have not,” the rapper said. “It’s really me just saying what I have been saying for 10 years. Now it’s becoming more full-facing in the news with Diddy’s stuff, but away from that. I’m like, Yo, it is just my perspective because I stayed away from that stuff the entire time, because it is not my style.”
Tensions between the two rap heavyweights have existed for decades, dating back to their initial meeting in the 1990s, when 50 Cent declined to view Diddy as a friend. Their feud escalated in 2006 when 50 Cent released his diss track, The Bomb, in which he accused Diddy of involvement in the 1997 murder of fellow rapper Biggie Smalls.
As Diddy faces a growing legal battle, the industry continues to watch how both the allegations and long-standing rivalries unfold.
