R&B Legend Angie Stone Dies in Car Accident at 63

Renowned R&B and soul singer, Angie Stone, has passed away at the age of 63 following a tragic car accident in Alabama, USA.

According to reports, the accident occurred early in the morning as Stone was leaving a performance in Montgomery. She was traveling in a Sprinter van at the time of the crash.

Her daughter, Diamond Stone, confirmed the heartbreaking news on social media, writing, “My mummy is gone.”

Stone’s representative, Deborah R. Champagne, also verified the news of her passing.

Angie Stone gained fame as a member of The Sequence, the first all-female rap group signed to Sugar Hill Records, before launching a successful solo career that earned her three Grammy nominations.
