Rihanna Drops Savage X Fenty Maternity Line

In a bold departure from traditional maternity style, Rihanna, the renowned singer, and entrepreneur, is once again challenging societal norms with the launch of her new maternity capsule collection in collaboration with lingerie brand Savage X Fenty. This marks Rihanna’s second pregnancy, and just as before, she’s determined to redefine pregnancy fashion.

Back in 2022, during her first pregnancy, Rihanna broke barriers by flaunting her baby bump in a series of outfits that defied conventional expectations. She confidently sported minidresses, heels, and baby bump-revealing ensembles, sparking conversations about maternity fashion.

Now, as she and her partner A$AP Rocky anticipate the arrival of their second child, Rihanna is taking her innovation a step further. In a statement, Rihanna expressed, “The new maternity capsule is about bringing that confidence and comfort to moms at every stage of their journeys. The collection features a range of items designed for both comfort and style. Notable pieces include an oversized graphic tee playfully bearing the phrase “Make More Babies,” as well as three bralettes, each named after and inspired by Savage X Fenty’s most popular designs – Savage X Cotton, Floral Lace, and Savage Not Sorry.

The core concept behind this capsule is to provide expecting mothers with fashion that caters to their changing needs without sacrificing their sense of self. Each bra incorporates functional elements tailored for multitasking parents. These include a one-hand functionality for ease, a nursing sling with a clever neckline-to-underarm opening, adjustable front-facing straps and back closures, and nursing clasps for hassle-free feeding.

“I’m not going to let that part disappear because my body is changing,” Rihanna remarked in a Vogue interview for the May 2022 cover story, emphasizing her determination to retain her fashion-forward approach during pregnancy.

Savage X Fenty’s venture into maternity wear exemplifies the brand’s commitment to inclusivity across its offerings.
