Rising Rap Star Enchanting Passes Away at 26
Texas native and former 1017 Records artist dies from suspected overdose
American rapper Enchanting, known for her hit songs “Track & Field” and “What I Want,” has tragically passed away at the age of 26.
The young artist was admitted to the ICU last night following a suspected cardiac arrest due to an overdose. Despite efforts to save her, a representative confirmed her death on Tuesday.
“She came to my house the last four days to get clean. She tried her best and I did everything I could to help her, she tried,” the representative told The Shade Room.
Enchanting gained prominence in the music scene after signing with Gucci Mane’s New 1017 label in 2020. She featured on three compilation albums before parting ways with the label in 2023. Her last studio album, “Luv Scarred/No Luv,” was released last year.
Her passing has left a void in the rap community, with fans and fellow artists mourning the loss of a rising star whose career was just beginning to flourish.
