Sign the Divorce Papers – Cardi B Tells Offset
American rapper Cardi B has revealed that her divorce from fellow rapper Offset remains unresolved due to his refusal to sign the necessary paperwork.
Speaking during a recent social media livestream, the “WAP” artist expressed frustration over Offset’s actions, accusing him of neglecting their children and using them as leverage in their ongoing separation.
“I didn’t want to do this, but I don’t like when I’m at peace and someone keeps calling me repeatedly, then doing things behind the scenes to upset me,” Cardi B said during the livestream.
She criticized Offset for failing to buy Christmas gifts for their children, highlighting what she described as a lack of involvement in their lives.
“You want to see the kids? You just called your daughter for the first time this year yesterday—your newborn,” she said. “You love your kids so much, but you didn’t buy them anything for Christmas. You went to New York to buy gifts for your other kids but didn’t get anything for mine. You’re doing this just to spite me.”
Cardi B also urged Offset to finalize their separation, stating, “You’re going to stop playing with me, and you’re going to sign these divorce papers. Stop using my kids as an excuse because these are the same kids you didn’t buy anything for during Christmas.”
The couple, who welcomed their third child last year, initially announced their separation in December 2023 when Cardi B filed for divorce. Despite the public fallout, the legal process remains unresolved.
