Sony Music West Africa to Host ‘In Her Element’ Conference in Lagos
Sony Music West Africa has unveiled plans for its ‘In Her Element’ conference, a two-day event set to take place in Lagos, Nigeria later this month. The conference aims to highlight the influence of women in creative industries, while also fostering leadership development and encouraging more female representation in the sector.
The event will feature a lineup of prominent speakers, including Adeife Adeoye (Remote WorkHER), Kikelola Ojewale (Dentons ACAS-Law), Director Pink (music video director and filmmaker), Moet Abebe (broadcaster and influencer), Tilewa Odedina (Food Court), and Olori Boye-Ajayi (consultant and coach).
A key aspect of the conference will be mentorship opportunities, with attendees getting the chance to secure internships at Sony Music West Africa or its partner companies.
The event will also include a networking day featuring live performances from Gyakie, Qing Madi, Shoday, Morravey, and Ossi Grace.
