Sony Pictures Unveils Trailer for Jim Caviezel Action-Thriller Ghost Soldier
Sony Pictures has released the official trailer for Ghost Soldier, an upcoming action-thriller starring Jim Caviezel as a former Special Forces operative drawn into a dangerous fight to protect his community.
The trailer offers a first look at the film’s intense action, advanced weaponry and central conflict, as Caviezel’s character is forced to confront a powerful corporation attempting to take control of land belonging to residents of his hometown.
Caviezel plays Henry “Fitz” Fitzgerald, a mysterious and highly skilled former soldier who has withdrawn from his previous life. His quiet existence is disrupted when a foreign corporation targets his community in pursuit of a lucrative development deal.
Rather than stand by, Fitz uses his military experience and expertise in advanced weapons to fight back. What follows is a one-man battle against an adversary that dramatically underestimates the former soldier’s capabilities.
Directed by William Eubank and written by Chris Papasadero, Ghost Soldier also features Olivia Thirlby, Beau Knapp, Garret Dillahunt and Shea Whigham.
David Zelon and William Sherak are producing the film, while Caviezel, Joseph Micucci, Paul Neinstein and James Vanderbilt are executive producers.
Sony Pictures is positioning Ghost Soldier as a high-intensity action movie centred on justice, survival and a protagonist whose dangerous past becomes his greatest weapon.
The film is currently scheduled to arrive in Indian cinemas on November 9, 2026.
