Suge Knight and Diddy

Suge Knight Says Diddy Should Not Be Jailed Amid Ongoing Trial

From behind bars, Suge Knight has weighed in on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ongoing legal troubles, saying he does not believe the music mogul should face prison time over the federal sex trafficking charges he is currently battling.

Speaking during an interview on Cuomo, the incarcerated Death Row Records co-founder, who has long had a complicated relationship with Diddy, offered a surprising show of support.

“Puffy and I are not friends, but Puffy should definitely walk free,” Knight said. “It’s a sad day for Hip Hop when only one man is made to answer for what involved several powerful figures. If others were part of what went on, why is he the only one on the stand?”

Knight questioned the fairness of the legal process, stressing that judgment should not be rushed based on media narratives or public opinion. “We just can’t throw Puffy under the bus. What’s right is right, and what’s wrong is wrong,” he added.

Knight also echoed a claim he made in a previous interview – that Diddy could receive a pardon from former U.S. President Donald Trump if convicted. “I think he’s got some favors with the government. If it ends up with a conviction, Trump’s gonna pardon him,” he said.

Despite the serious nature of the allegations, Knight expressed confidence that Combs would receive a fair shot in court. “He’s not a dummy,” Knight said. “All you need is one juror. I think he’ll be alright.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges. His federal trial is currently underway in New York. He has not commented publicly on the possibility of seeking a presidential pardon.
