Couples Should Date for 10 Years Before Getting Married – Wiz Khalifa
American rapper Wiz Khalifa has shared his belief that couples should date for at least 10 years before tying the knot. The 37-year-old artist, who is a father of two, explained that a decade-long relationship allows partners to truly understand one another and their families, providing a solid foundation before marriage.
Speaking on the Club Shay Shay podcast, Wiz emphasized, “People should date for 10 years before getting married because that’s long enough to know the person, their family, and who you’re going to deal with when you move in together.”
When asked about whether couples should live together before marriage or wait until after, Wiz stated that it depends on the individuals involved. He added, “Some people move in right away and still need time to figure it out. If you don’t move in right away, you’ll learn that there’s one version of the person when you’re not sharing things and a different version when you are.”
Wiz Khalifa was previously married to model Amber Rose in 2013, but the couple divorced in 2014, citing irreconcilable differences. The marriage was officially dissolved in 2016. Currently, Wiz is in a relationship with Aimee Aguilar, his girlfriend of five years, with whom he has a daughter.
