Foodies and Spice Shares Budget-Friendly Recipe: Kpomo Sauce with Fragrant Yellow Rice

This holiday season, cooking on a budget doesn’t mean sacrificing flavour, and Foodies and Spice is here to prove it with her delicious recipe for fragrant yellow rice paired with savoury kpomo sauce.

To prepare the rice, Foodies and Spice begins by sautéing onions in oil to bring out their natural sweetness. She then adds a blend of onions, ginger, and garlic paste along with a pinch of salt, cloves, and curry powder, letting the mixture cook until aromatic. For the kpomo sauce, she slices red bell peppers and chives, and cuts the kpomo (cow skin) into bite-sized pieces.
