Taylor Swift Applauds Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt’s “All Too Well” Cover

Pop sensation Taylor Swift has expressed her admiration for Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt’s rendition of her hit song “All Too Well” during their appearance on “Saturday Night Live.”

The 34-year-old singer-songwriter took to X to share her excitement over the stars’ performance, jokingly suggesting that she might accidentally find herself singing their version during her upcoming ‘Eras’ tour.

In her post, Swift praised the duo’s rendition of “All Too Well,” which they adapted to bid farewell to their respective movie projects, ‘Barbie’ and ‘Oppenheimer,’ on the popular comedy show.

During Gosling’s monologue, he humorously addressed his departure from his ‘Barbie’ character Ken and expressed his need to process the breakup through music, ultimately leading to a heartfelt rendition of Swift’s song.

Clad in Ken’s signature attire, Gosling delivered a modified version of the song’s lyrics, capturing the essence of his character’s journey and emotional turmoil. Blunt, his co-star in the skit, also joined in with her own adaptation, referencing her role in ‘Oppenheimer.’

The skit concluded with the duo bidding farewell to their characters as they extinguished a prayer candle, symbolizing the end of their on-screen personas. However, Gosling humorously declared that Ken would never truly fade away as the candle miraculously reignited.

Swift’s endorsement of Gosling and Blunt’s cover further adds to the buzz surrounding their comedic performance, showcasing the enduring appeal of her music across diverse audiences. As fans eagerly anticipate Swift’s upcoming tour, the possibility of her incorporating elements of Gosling and Blunt’s rendition adds an exciting twist to her live performances.
