TG Omori Vows Return in 2025 Amid Failed Kidney Transplant
Renowned Nigerian music director and cinematographer, ThankGod Omori Smith, popularly known as TG Omori or Boy Director, has reassured his fans that he will make a comeback in 2025 despite facing health challenges.
TG Omori underwent a kidney transplant on August 26, 2024, at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos, where his only brother served as the donor. Unfortunately, the procedure was unsuccessful, leaving the celebrated director to battle ongoing health issues.
In a series of updates shared on social media on Monday, TG Omori expressed optimism and underscored the significance of a strong mindset when dealing with illness. Sharing a photo of himself, he wrote: “It’s mind over matter. If the mind is defeated, it’s only a matter of time before the body falls.”
He continued to emphasize his resilience, adding, “Pain has no power over me. I will be back in 2025. Stay in love!”
The announcement has been met with an outpouring of support from fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry, all of whom are hopeful for his recovery and eventual return.
