Legendary producer Timbaland recently took to Instagram to proudly showcase his newly transformed hairline, the result of a hair transplant procedure. The music mogul, known for his contributions to the hip-hop and R&B industry, decided to undergo the procedure to address hair loss, also known as alopecia.
In the Instagram video posted on Wednesday (September 13), Timbaland candidly discussed his decision to get a hair transplant and shared his motivation for taking this step. He emphasized the importance of addressing hair loss and dispelled any notions of jealousy, saying, “I have to go get work. There’s no getting around it. I started seeing things getting lighter, and I’m like, ‘You know what? Let me do it earlier than later.’ I’m tryna tell y’all — don’t be jealous!”
In his caption accompanying the video, Timbaland expressed his gratitude to Dr. Harold Siegel and his team at the Natural Transplants Clinic for their care and attention during the procedure. He stressed the significance of early hair care and finding the right doctor.
Timbaland’s decision to undergo a hair transplant comes as he prepares to bring back Verzuz, the popular music battle series he co-founded. He recently assured fans that the cultural phenomenon would return by the end of 2023.
