Tina Turner’s ‘Husband Will Inherit Nearly Half Her $250 Million Fortune’

Tina Turner’s husband, Erwin Bach, is set to inherit nearly half of her estimated $250 million fortune.

The iconic singer, known for her hit song “What’s Love Got to Do With It,” married music producer Erwin Bach, 67, a decade ago after a 27-year-long romance.

Throughout their relationship, Erwin stood by Tina’s side, supporting her through various health challenges, including a stroke in 2013 and donating a kidney to save her life in 2017.

Afida Turner, Tina’s daughter-in-law and widow of her late son Ronnie, shared insights into the likely distribution of the star’s wealth.

She explained to the Sunday Mirror, “As she married in Switzerland, I think around 47 percent will go to the spouse and the rest to the children.”

Afida, who was married to Ronnie until his death in 2022 from complications related to colon cancer, shed light on the family dynamics that might complicate the estate’s division.

Tina had adopted two of her abusive ex-husband Ike Turner’s sons, as well as a son named Craig from a previous relationship. Craig tragically died by suicide in 2018, which Tina described as her “saddest moment as a mother.”

Afida clarified the lineage within the family, stating, “Tina’s two children are Craig and Ronnie – she never adopted Ike Jr. It’s just because she was with Ike that they were in the family, so the only ‘blood’ descendants are Craig and Ronnie. Today, I’m the only one with the name – there are no other Turners.”

Despite the potential complexities, Afida emphasized that her focus was not on Tina’s money but on respecting her mother-in-law.

She highlighted her own financial independence, stating, “I’ve always earned my own money – no one has ever given me anything in the Turner family – that’s the Turner way, OK.”

Tina’s estimated fortune of $250 million, as reported by Celebrity Net Worth, was not solely derived from her chart-topping hits like “What’s Love Got to Do With It” and “We Don’t Need Another Hero.”

She also had a successful career in acting, appearing in films such as “Tommy,” “Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome,” and “Last Action Hero.”

Her 1993 biopic, “What’s Love Got to Do With It,” depicted her journey to success and her struggles to retain her stage name during her traumatic divorce from Ike Turner.

Tina sold her image and music rights to BMG two years before her passing, in a deal estimated to be worth $50 million. She died at her $76 million Swiss retreat, leaving behind a lasting legacy in the music and film industry.
