Directed by JAY-Z and Hamish Hamilton, the 10-minute short film, shot entirely on an iPhone 15 Pro, offers fans an intimate peek into the meticulous preparation behind the scenes. Released on Saturday, it showcases rehearsals, studio sessions, and the extensive fine-tuning of the set list.

Reflecting on the process, Usher expressed gratitude for the collaborative effort in crafting a performance that epitomized his unique blend of soulful R&B and pop. The documentary captures moments of creative synergy that shaped his artistic vision.

During the event, Usher dazzled audiences with a 13-song medley, featuring appearances by Alicia Keys, Ludacris, Lil Jon, Jermaine Dupri, and will.i.am, all adorned in futuristic attire.

The performance, adorned with intricate dance choreography and a nod to Atlanta’s vibrant strip club culture, captivated over 30 million households, translating to approximately 100 million viewers nationwide.

According to TV intelligence company Samba TV, this viewership surpassed last year’s performance by Rihanna, marking a significant milestone in Super Bowl history. The game itself set records as the most-watched in history, with 123.4 million viewers tuning in across various platforms.

Notably, Taylor Swift’s presence at NFL games, attributed to her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, has been linked to a surge in viewership, contributing to the sport’s growing appeal.

The playoffs also experienced a surge in viewership, averaging 38.5 million viewers per game, highlighting the enduring allure of football among audiences nationwide.
