Ill Bliss Shares Insights Into Journey Behind New Album “Sideh Kai”

Nigerian rapper and actor, Tobechukwu Ejiofor, professionally known as Ill Bliss, opened up about the creative journey behind his forthcoming album, “Sideh Kai,” set to drop on February 24, 2024.

Taking to social media, Ill Bliss unveiled the album cover and tracklist, revealing collaborations with a lineup of notable Nigerian musicians including Fave, Odumodublack, Made Kuti, Teni, Vector, and Cobhams Asuquo, among others.

In an exclusive interview with Channels News, Ill Bliss delved into the significance of his seventh album, marking his return to the music scene after a hiatus since 2020. He attributed the four-year gap to personal milestones, including the birth of his daughter and his foray into acting and television.

Reflecting on his journey, Ill Bliss shared poignant moments, recounting the premature birth of his daughter at 25 weeks amid the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite facing adversity, he found solace in the evolution of his artistry, recognizing shifts in the music industry landscape.
