Bruce Willis will be taking part in his final movie after it was announced that he is stepping back from acting for health reasons.
It was announced on Wednesday that that after being diagnosed with aphasia, a condition that affects the ability to communicate, the actor will be putting an end to his illustrious acting career.
The 67-year-old is bets known for his role in the Die Hard franchise, one of the most successful series of action films ever made. He also starred in Pulp Fiction and Armageddon.
His career has spanned four decades and has amassed more than five million dollars in box office worldwide.
His next and final role will be in an actio-packed thriller called Paradise City in which he’ll be starring alongside John Travolta and Praya Lundberg.
Willis will be playing the role of Ryan Swan. He is a bounty hunter that is seeking revenge on the man that killed his father. That role is played by Travolta.
The female lead for the film is played by Lundberg and according to IMDb it is now in post-production. The work began in Maui, Hawaii back in May 2021.
Perfect character for Willis
It is believed by many that this character in Paradise City is perfect for Willis as it effectively brings his career full circle. He is at his best when playing the role of a tough guy capable of making jokes.
The reunion between Willis and Travolta is what fans are the most excited for. The pair worked together first on 1989 film “Look Who’s Talking”. They had minimal on-screen time together though.
It was Pulp Fiction in 1994 that really drew them together and Paradise City will see them appear on-screen together for the the first time in nearly 30 years.
