WhatsApp Unveils Updated Emoji Reaction Design for Chats and Channels
WhatsApp has introduced a refreshed design for emoji reactions across chats, groups, and channels, improving how users interact with messages on the platform.
The update brings a more streamlined and organized layout, making it easier to browse and select reactions quickly. One of the key changes is the introduction of a compact format that displays up to four reactions per row, reducing vertical space and enhancing usability.
Channels, which often see high interaction volumes, will experience the most noticeable changes, with a new grid-style layout for reactions. Meanwhile, chats and groups will retain a vertical list format but with slight refinements to improve navigation.
The redesign is currently available to select beta testers on the latest WhatsApp beta for Android, with a wider rollout expected soon.
