Yung Bleu Arrested Amid Custody Dispute, Charged With Battery
Alabama rapper Yung Bleu, real name Jeremy Biddle, found himself in legal trouble after allegedly assaulting a woman involved in a custody dispute with him. Arrest records obtained by HipHopDX disclosed that the artist was arrested on October 15, facing a misdemeanour charge of battery under the Family Violence Act. He was taken into custody at Hall County Jail but subsequently released on a $2,400 cash bond.
TMZ has shed further light on the situation, revealing that Yung Bleu’s arrest was prompted by an incident where he unexpectedly arrived at a residence to pick up his 10-year-old child. When the woman at the residence refused to allow the child to leave with the “Ice on My Baby” rapper, an altercation ensued. Yung Bleu is alleged to have body-slammed the woman to the ground, causing injuries to her right arm and hip. After leaving with the child, he later returned to the residence and subsequently was arrested.
While the identity of the victim has not been officially confirmed, speculation suggests that it might be his estranged wife, Tiemeria Biddle.
Last month, Yung Bleu publicly disclosed that he and his wife were facing challenges in their relationship, specifically citing infidelity. He issued a heartfelt apology to his wife on Twitter, expressing his love and appreciation for her while acknowledging his shortcomings. However, his wife did not respond to his apology, and he eventually deleted the tweet.
The drama surrounding Yung Bleu’s personal life became public when his wife took to social media to confront him about his alleged infidelity. In a series of Instagram Story posts, she criticized his actions and made pointed remarks about their relationship, leading to heightened tensions between the two.
