2Pac and Keefe D

2Pac Murder Suspect Keefe D Secures New Attorney, Shakes Off Public Defenders

In a significant development in the ongoing 2Pac murder case, Keefe D, one of the suspects implicated in the iconic rapper’s death, has opted for a change in legal representation. Keefe D, a former gang leader and accused killer, has replaced his court-appointed public defenders with the services of Carl Arnold, a seasoned attorney and Howard University School of Law graduate renowned for his legal prowess.

The notice of substitution was officially filed in Las Vegas courts on Thursday (January 18) and subsequently accepted on Friday (January 19), as reported by 8 News Now. Carl Arnold’s inclusion in Keefe D’s defence team brings with it an impressive track record, having been named to the National Trial Lawyers Top 100.

This legal move follows Keefe D’s previous court-appointed attorneys presenting a tape on January 11, purporting to shed light on Diddy’s alleged involvement in the shooting. Keefe D claims that the tape captures him recounting Diddy’s offer of a $1 million cash reward for the successful assassination of 2Pac, with no questions asked.

Despite the absence of Diddy’s voice on the tape, Keefe D asserts that the notorious music mogul wanted both 2Pac and Suge Knight dead due to escalating tensions during the “East Coast/West Coast rap wars.”

This isn’t the first time Diddy has faced accusations related to 2Pac’s murder. In 2011, Los Angeles Police Detective Greg Kading made similar claims in his book, “Murder Rap: The Untold Story of the Biggie Smalls & Tupac Shakur Murder Investigations by the Detective Who Solved Both Cases.” Kading alleged that Diddy commissioned Keefe D to orchestrate Tupac’s murder.

During that time, Diddy vehemently denied any involvement in 2Pac’s murder, dismissing the allegations as “pure fiction” and “completely ridiculous.”

As Keefe D navigates the legal proceedings with his new legal representation, the 2Pac murder case continues to unravel, bringing forth fresh perspectives on the complex web of allegations and conspiracies surrounding the iconic rapper’s tragic death.
