50 Cent Acquires 985,000-Square-Foot Property for G-Unit Film Division

50 Cent has made a massive investment in Hollywood by purchasing a 985,000-square-foot property, which he plans to develop into a studio for G-Unit Film Division.

In a video shared on social media, the rapper expressed his excitement about the acquisition, saying, “985,000 square feet. Can you say G-Unit studios?”

This purchase comes after the rapper left STARZ in 2022 and took additional steps towards content ownership.

He has also filed various trademarks under his NYC Vibe LLC, indicating a wide range of future projects, including TV shows, documentaries, and movies.

50 Cent has been steadily building his television empire with successful projects like “Power,” “Power Book II: Ghost,” “Power Book III: Raising Kanan,” “Black Mafia Family (BMF),” and “Power Book IV: Force.”

Additionally, he has a non-exclusive broadcast direct deal with Fox Entertainment Studios, which allows him to create scripted dramas, live-action comedies, and animated series through G-Unit Film & Television.

Projects developed through the partnership will be produced and owned by Fox Entertainment. Michael Thorn, the president of Fox Entertainment, praised the rapper’s storytelling ability and said that the studio is excited to develop new and exciting series with 50 Cent and his team.
