6ix9ine Allegedly Grounded in the Dominican Republic Amid Assault Charges

Rapper 6ix9ine, also known as Daniel Hernandez, reportedly faces detainment in the Dominican Republic over charges of assault against a producer, preventing him from leaving the country. Renowned immigration attorney Felix Portes revealed that the “GUMMO” artist attempted to depart on a private jet but triggered an “immigration alert,” halting his departure and forcing the plane’s grounding.

The rapper was freed on $500,000 bail last month after being arrested for allegedly assaulting two men over an incident involving his girlfriend. Despite his release, 6ix9ine faces a restraining order, requiring him to maintain distance from the individuals he allegedly assaulted and to attend anger management classes.

However, reports indicate that he was unable to leave the Dominican Republic following the immigration alert. The local attorney claims that a warrant has been issued for his arrest for the attempted flight.

6ix9ine addressed his fans on Instagram Stories, expressing gratitude for their support and love. His anticipated release is linked to the higher power, thanking everyone for their backing during this challenging time.

The alleged altercation with the producer in the D.R. was not captured on camera, but it led to a warrant for 6ix9ine’s arrest for “blows and injuries, and threats.” The trial date remains unspecified. The rapper’s current status in the Dominican Republic awaits further legal resolution.
