WhatsApp to Introduce Multiple Account Support for iOS Users
WhatsApp is set to roll out a feature allowing iOS users to manage multiple accounts on a single device. According to a report from WABetaInfo, the feature is currently in testing and will be included in an upcoming app update.
To activate multiple accounts, users will need two separate phone numbers, as each WhatsApp account requires a unique number. The feature will offer two options for adding an account: setting it up as a primary account or scanning a QR code to link it as a secondary account.
This functionality has been available on Android devices for about a year, and its introduction to iOS is expected to enhance convenience for users managing personal and professional accounts on the same device.
