American rapper Wale has praised Afrobeats star Davido for his natural comedic talent, suggesting the Nigerian hitmaker could easily make it as a stand-up comedian.
Wale made the comment in reaction to a viral clip from Davido’s recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, a popular American radio show. During the interview, Davido had hosts DJ Envy, Charlamagne tha God, and others in fits of laughter with his witty and playful responses.
Impressed by the singer’s effortless humour, Wale reposted the clip on X (formerly Twitter), writing: “Davido could be a world class stand up comedian .. natural.”
Davido, known globally for his energetic performances and chart-topping hits, is also widely loved for his charismatic and lighthearted personality – something fans say often shines through during his interviews and on social media.
