Nike Golf Unveils Air Max 95 Special Edition for 2026 Waste Management Open
Nike Golf is gearing up for the 2026 Waste Management Open with a new special-edition release: a golf-ready Air Max 95 designed to match the high-energy spirit of the Phoenix tournament.
Often described as the most raucous stop on the PGA Tour, the Waste Management Open has become known for its festival-like crowd and modern take on golf culture. Nike has previously marked the event with themed versions of the Roshe Run and Pegasus 89, but next February the spotlight shifts to Sergio Lozano’s iconic Air Max 95.

Official images reveal a reworked upper constructed from perforated leather, canvas and hairy suede – a nod to the unconventional, Footscape-inspired builds of past Air Max experiments. While the shoe comes mostly in off-white shades, brown leather accents on the tongue and heel add classic golf-shoe flair. A brown leather tasselled hangtag also comes attached, and a bold green Swoosh on the lateral side ties visually to the tournament’s Waste Management branding.

Unlike recent “big bubble” Air Max 95 releases, this version features a slimmer midsole and Air unit similar to the Air Max 95 Ultra, with the outsole revamped to include a golf-specific traction pattern.
The Nike Air Max 95 Golf “Waste Management Open” is scheduled to launch in Spring 2026 via Nike SNKRS, expected to drop just before or during the tournament in early February.
