Rolls-Royce Unveils Ultra-Luxury Electric Two-Seater ‘Project Nightingale’

British luxury automaker Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has revealed a new all-electric two-seater convertible, known as Project Nightingale, marking another bold step into the future of high-end motoring.

The ultra-exclusive model will be limited to just 100 units, each hand-built at the company’s headquarters in Goodwood, with deliveries expected to begin in 2028.

Powered entirely by electricity, the car promises an almost silent driving experience – something Rolls-Royce says aligns perfectly with its signature luxury feel.

In terms of design, Project Nightingale stretches about 5.76 metres, roughly the same length as the iconic Rolls-Royce Phantom. It features a long bonnet and a sleek, torpedo-like shape inspired by the brand’s experimental EX models from the 1920s and the elegance of the Art Deco era.

CEO Chris Brownridge described the model as one of the brand’s most ambitious creations, combining bespoke coachbuilding, electric performance, and open-top luxury in a way never seen before.

Despite its electric push, Rolls-Royce recently confirmed it will continue producing petrol-powered vehicles beyond 2030, stepping back from its earlier plan to go fully electric by that year.

While official pricing hasn’t been disclosed, the model is expected to sit between the brand’s Private Commission and Coachbuild ranges – placing it firmly in the ultra-premium category, potentially costing well into the millions.
