Activision Updates Black Ops 7 Pre-Order Operator Skins Following Fan Feedback

Activision has announced changes to the pre-order bonus operator skins for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 following widespread community feedback. The move comes after the initial reveal of the Vault Edition operators last month sparked criticism from fans who felt the designs lacked authenticity.

In a statement, Activision said the adjustments reflect its commitment to preserving the authentic look and feel of the Black Ops franchise.

“As part of our commitment to the authentic look and feel of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, and after receiving community feedback specifically related to the Black Ops 7 Vault Edition offering, we’ve decided to implement visual changes to three of the four Vault Edition Operators and provide an additional bonus skin for T.E.D.D.,” the company announced.

The updated changes include:

Karma: Redesigned with updated holographic plates and visor modifications.

Harper: Armor recolored and streamlined for a more tactical appearance.

T.E.D.D: His design has been altered to resemble his original appearance from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. The previously revealed skin will still be available separately with additional tweaks.

These adjustments will be rolled out ahead of the game’s official launch as Activision aims to align the designs with fan expectations and the series’ established aesthetic. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is slated for release later this year.
