Actor Cody Longo, 34, Found Dead at Home

The actor Cody Longo died at his home in Austin, Texas, at the age of 34. His wife Stephanie called the police when she was not able to contact her husband, they entered the house last Wednesday and found him dead in bed, his representative told CNN.

Longo was also the father of three children, ages 7, 5 and 1. His wife was devastated in a statement: “He was an amazing father and the best husband,” she said. “Our whole world is shattered.”

Cody Longo Had Drinking Problems

According to the American website TMZ, the actor had been struggling for years with his addiction to alcohol and was in rehab this summer. Reportedly the family believe that Cody Longo may have had a relapse and that alcoholism may have ended his life.

It’s said his goal was to recover so he could enjoy his three children and TMZ said the actor was even in trouble with the law because of his alcoholism, being arrested on a couple of occasions for domestic violence.

The actor appeared in eight episodes of the series ‘Days of Our Lives’ in 2011 and in some of the fiction ‘Nashville’ in 2016, he was also in ‘Bring It On: Fight to The Finish’. But the actor is best known for his role in ‘Hollywood Heights’ in which he appeared in 78 episodes as Eddie Duran.
He also had roles in ‘American Girls 5’, ‘Nashville’, ‘C.S.I.’, ‘C.S.I.: New York’, ‘Five Brothers’ or ‘Medium’, and in films such as ‘Piranha 3D.’
