Amber Rose Cried for 3 Years Straight After Split From ‘Soulmate’ Wiz Khalifa

Amber Rose recently shared candid insights into her emotional struggles following her split from rapper Wiz Khalifa in 2016. The model and founder of the Slut Walk movement appeared on the No Jumper podcast on Thursday, revealing the profound impact the breakup had on her.

During the podcast, Amber described the depth of her connection with Wiz Khalifa, emphasizing their current status as best friends and co-parents to their child. The model stressed the importance of focusing on their family and children, highlighting the challenges that arise when lingering feelings complicate the co-parenting dynamic.

Amber admitted to shedding tears continuously for three years after the split, acknowledging Wiz Khalifa as the love of her life. The couple had a whirlwind romance, starting in 2011, getting engaged in 2012, and marrying in 2013. However, their marriage lasted only 18 months before Amber filed for divorce in 2014, citing irreconcilable differences.

This isn’t the first time Amber has opened up about the impact of her relationship with Wiz Khalifa. In 2014, shortly after their split, she revealed how the breakup left her heartbroken, emphasizing Wiz as the love of her life.

Despite the challenges, the former couple has successfully navigated co-parenting. In 2021, they joined forces to host an “epic” Fortnite-themed Halloween party for their son. The positive co-parenting relationship was evident in various social media posts, showcasing Wiz and Amber’s commitment to creating memorable moments for their children.

Earlier this year, Wiz Khalifa celebrated a proud dad moment as his son, Sebastian, graduated fourth grade. Amber Rose, Wiz’s current girlfriend, Aimee Aguilar, and Amber’s second child, Slash, also attended the graduation ceremony. The amicable co-parenting efforts of Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa continue to set an example for families navigating post-divorce relationships.
