Asian Doll Clowns Anyone Trying to Rap Over the Age of 30

Dallas-based rapper Asian Doll has ignited a debate within the hip-hop community with her recent comments on the age of aspiring rappers. The artist took to Twitter on Thursday (August 24) to express her belief that individuals attempting to pursue a rap career over the age of 30 should reconsider their choices.

In a since-deleted tweet, she stated, “Tryna rap at 30 is crazyyyyyyyyyy.”

The tweet caught the attention of many, including well-known figures in the rap world. Snoop Dogg humorously responded, “Glad I ain’t 30 no more,” while Fabo questioned the negative attitude toward older artists, pointing out how other music genres embrace artists of varying ages.

The comments section of the reposted tweet on Instagram exploded with reactions from both her rap peers and fans, some defending older artists and others sharing sly remarks.

This isn’t the first time Asian Doll has made headlines recently. She also announced a lucrative partnership with the content creation platform OnlyFans. In a series of since-deleted tweets, she revealed that she was paid $500,000 to join the platform and even suggested that her days of performing at live shows might be behind her.

“Only fans gave me $500k just to sign up,” Asian Doll claimed, adding, “Not to mention I’m literally signed to a BILLIONAIRE. Stop watching my pockets; they so full ion even gotta do shows no more, that was the goal.”

The rapper’s OnlyFans launch comes alongside her sharing explicit content and teasing potential subscribers on social media. She’s charging fans $20 per month for access to her exclusive content on the platform.

Asian Doll’s venture into OnlyFans aligns with a growing trend of artists using the platform to connect with fans and share more explicit content that might be restricted on traditional social media channels.

Her launch follows Saweetie’s announcement of her own venture into a similar platform called Fansly, allowing artists to engage more directly with subscribers and share content that might not be suitable for public platforms.

Asian Doll’s statements and business moves have sparked conversations about ageism in the music industry and the evolving ways artists engage with their audience through digital platforms.
