Atlanta United, U.S. Soccer Star Miles Robinson Arrested For Stealing

Atlanta United and U.S. men’s soccer team star Miles Robinson has been arrested over the Labor Day weekend, according to jail records.

As reported by WSBTV, Robinson is accused of misdemeanor theft after an incident at the Battery Atlanta entertainment district at the Atlanta Braves stadium.

Cobb County jail records show that Robinson posted a $150 bond.

“We are aware of a recent misdemeanor arrest involving Miles Robinson. We are continuing to gather all information related to the incident and will not have further comment at this time,” Atlanta United wrote in a statement to Channel 2.

Channel 2 Action News has reached out to the Cobb County police for the full arrest report.

Robinson has been sidelined with an Achilles injury since May. He had been considered a lock to make the U.S. men’s soccer team starting roster for the World Cup, which is set to begin in November.

Atlanta United drafted Robinson out of Syracuse in 2017.
