Israel Adesanya Takes a Swipe at Chris Pratt After UFC 276 Fight Criticism
Coming on the heels of the criticism thrown his way by American actor, Chris Pratt, UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya has taken his pound of flesh by reminding the actor that he’s “just a fan” and not a UFC athlete.
Israel Adesanya was criticised after his winning performance over Jared Cannonier at UFC 276. After the fight, Pratt sat down with the UFC broadcast team where he gave his take on the fight when Adesanya got the win over Cannonier in a one-sided decision.
“I’m going to say this as humbly as I can – I’ve never been in the octagon,” Pratt said on the UFC 276 post-fight show.
“I don’t know this game. I’m just an actor. But I don’t like to go out there and have all that talk, and then just do a little bit of [acting]. I mean, come on, man. You’ve got to capitalize on that promise of being so badass.”
Clearly, Adesanya didn’t find this funny as he went as far as digging our a short clip where Pratt has his face smached with a keyboard (in a scene with James McAvoy) and even lost a tooth.
