Ayra Starr Joins Coldplay on Stage for Historic Australian Tour

Nigerian music sensation Ayra Starr has taken her talents to the stage alongside global rock giants Coldplay, as part of their Music of the Spheres 2024 World Tour. The collaboration is part of an 11-date stretch across Australia and New Zealand, with Ayra Starr thrilling audiences at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium, where she opened for the iconic band.

The singer-songwriter captivated the crowd with performances of her chart-topping single “Rush” and other hits from her critically acclaimed sophomore album The Year I Turned 21. This collaboration is a major milestone in Ayra Starr’s career, further cementing her international appeal.

Her appearance with Coldplay follows her feature on the band’s latest album, Moon Music, where she joined forces with Coldplay on the track “Good Feeling.” She now becomes the fourth woman to collaborate with Coldplay, joining the ranks of superstars like Rihanna, Beyoncé, and Selena Gomez.

Ayra Starr’s success in 2024 has been remarkable, with a historic Grammy nomination as the first Nigerian female lead artist and impressive commercial success for her sophomore album. The album features collaborations with notable artists such as Asake, Seyi Vibez, Giveon, Coco Jones, and Anita.
