Basketmouth’s Wife, Elsie Okpocha Reveals Why She Never Shares Friend’s Secrets With Her Husband
Nigerian comedian and actor, Basketmouth’s wife, Elsie Okpocha has made it clear that she does not share her friend’s secrets with her husband.
It would be recalled that Elsie recently put out a post on social media where she advised girlfriends and wives against against sharing their friend’s secrets with their partners.
In her latest interview with Sunday Scoop, Elsie said people need to be reminded that they are not perfect.
“I only tell my husband things about my friends that I want him to know. I have my faults too and I would not like my friends telling their husbands certain things about me.
“I know how husbands and wives usually talk about most things but I don’t get carried away. I majorly tell my husband about the positive sides of my friends.
“That also includes my family members. I don’t portray my friends to my family in a negative way. I don’t say things that will make people look at my friends in a negative light. Imagine me saying bad things about a friend, and the next day, people see us hanging out together. That would make me look stupid. I am not that type of person.”
As expected, her post triggered a flurry of reactions from user. While some affirmed that there was an element of truth in her words, some others simply posited that she wasn’t telling the whole truth. They added that she was merely protecting her friends from becoming targets of her husband’s jokes as a stand-up comedian.
